Alternative Education
Funded partially by a grant, the CLIU 21 operates an alternative education program in Carbon County. This program is open to students in grades 7 thru 12. The mission of the program is to provide a safe, secure and structured environment which fosters learning. The overall goal of the program is to organize and maintain a consistent structured learning environment to serve at risk students who have not benefited from traditional school approaches. The students receive educational support from the teachers and paraprofessionals and counseling support from the psychologist and counselor.
