THIS IS AN ANTICIPATED FULL TIME POSITION THAT WORKS 195 DAYS PER YEAR. THIS POSITION WILL PROVIDE DIRECT TREATMENT THAT WILL FOCUS ON HELPING STUDENTS LEARN TO RESPOND TO THEIR DAILY ENVIRONMENT IN A PRACTICAL AND PRODUCTIVE MANNER. EMPHASIS WILL BE PLACED ON A CHILD'S CURRENT NEEDS, FUNCTIONS AND SUPPORT SYSTEMS AS THEY RELATE TO MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS. THE MENTAL HEALTH WORKER ALSO COMPLETES CLINICAL DUTIES IN THE PARTIAL HOSPITAL PROGRAM IN COOPERATION WITH THE MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST AND COORDINATOR/DIRECTOR OF TREATMENT. THE MENTAL HEALTH WORKER COMPLETES INDIVIDUAL, GROUP AND FAMILY THERAPY ALONG WITH THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION, WHICH INCLUDES TREATMENT PLANNING, NOTES AND CASE MANAGEMENT. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: BACHELORS DEGREE IN A RECOGNIZED RELATED MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL DISCIPLINE, REQUIRED. ONE (1) YEAR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN WITH SERIOUS EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCES, PREFERRED.
