THIS IS A CONTRACTED POSITION THAT WORKS UP TO 29 HOURS PER WEEK. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATING DIVERSITY AND EQUITY INITIATIVES, TO MAXIMIZE EQUAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, AND EQUAL SCHOOL CLIMATE PROCEDURES. QUALIFICATIONS: BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN SOCIAL SCIENCES, MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION, AND/OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE. EXPERIENCE RELATED TO DESIGNING, DELIVERING AND RESOLVING DIVERSITY ISSUES IN THE PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SECTOR, UNDERSTANDING OF RELEVANT FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS REGARDING EQUITY AND DIVERSITY ISSUES. KNOWLEDGE OF CURRENT ISSUES AND TRENDS IN EDUCATION AND/OR EQUITY AND DIVERSITY AND STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS.
