THE CLIU IS SEEKING TO FILL CURRENT OPENINGS FOR FULL-TIME INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANTS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN LEHIGH AND CARBON COUNTIES. THESE POSITIONS WORK 191-DAYS PER YEAR WITH CHILDREN IN GRADES K-12 WHO HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO ASSISTING CLASSROOM TEACHERS WITH INSTRUCTION, TRACKING STUDENT PROGRESS, PREPARATION AND SUPERVISION OF CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES, GRADING ASSESSMENTS, AND HELPING CHILDREN ON AND OFF THE BUS. INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANTS WORK IN A GROUP OR ONE ON ONE SETTING AND MUST POSSESS EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION/ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS.
