CURRENT OPEN POSITION. FT 191 DAYS PER YEAR. THE POSITION IS A 1:1 INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT FOR A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WITH AUTISM. THE 1:1 INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT WILL ASSIST THE STUDENT IN THE COMPLETION OF HIS DAILY ASSIGNMENTS, MANAGE BEHAVIORS, AND ASSIST WITH SELF-HELP SKILLS. THE INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT WILL ALSO ASSIST THE CLASSROOM TEACHER WITH INSTRUCTION, LESSON PLANNING, AND PROGRESS MONITORING AS WELL AS OTHER DUTIES WITHIN THE CLASSROOM SUCH AS MANAGING BEHAVIORS.
