Allentown Secure Treatment Unit (ASTU)

ASTU is a 16-bed facility located on the grounds of the Allentown State Hospital in Lehigh County. The program is designed to serve adjudicated male delinquents between the ages of 15 and 18 years old who are sexual offenders, aggressive, runaway risks, and who have serious emotional problems. The educational component is operated by the CLIU under contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Corrections Education.
