THIS IS AN ANTICIPATED FULL-TIME OPENING, 191-DAYS PER YEAR. AN EMOTIONAL SUPPORT INTERVENTIONIST IS NEEDED TO PROVIDE DIRECT TREATMENT TO SCHOOL AGED STUDENTS. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A BACHELORS DEGREE IN A MENTAL HEALTH AND/OR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DISCIPLINE, AND 1-YRS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN WHO HAVE EMOTIONAL DISABILITIES. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE DEVELOPING INTERVENTION STRATEGIES, ORGANIZING GROUP THERAPY, EVALUATION OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH MATERIALS; WORK AS A COLLABORATIVE TEAM WITH PROFESSIONALS AND CLASSROOM STAFF. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS, ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS, AND HAVE THE ABILITY TO WORK IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT. |
